TermDefinition
GatewayA signed endpoint. One URL = one gateway. Each has its own filters, target URL and configuration.
Mechanical filtersRate limiting, deduplication and token budget. Always-on filters.
Message unificationDebounce rapid-fire messages into a single payload. Builder plan and above.
Keyword routingRoute messages to different endpoints based on keyword matches. Builder plan and above.
QuarantineWhere blocked messages live. Reviewable and replayable from the dashboard. Expires based on plan retention.
Security envelopeOptional mode: blocked messages are delivered with a security section instead of being quarantined.
BlacklistPer-gateway list of user_id values rejected before any filter runs.
Delivery envelopeThe _portarus object appended to every delivered payload. Contains status, language, trace id and filter results.
Trace idUnique identifier for each request. Returned in the X-Trace-Id header and in the envelope. Include it in support requests.
BypassWhen quota is exceeded or the gateway is paused, messages skip the filters and go directly to your endpoint.
Fail-openIf infrastructure is degraded, the message is delivered anyway with the failure recorded. Your agent is never blocked by Portarus.
