Message unification
Batch rapid-fire messages into one coherent payload.
Last updated October 1, 2026
When a user sends rapid-fire messages ("Hi" / "I have a question" / "about pricing"), the unifier batches them into a single payload before delivering. Your agent sees one coherent message instead of three.
Settings
| Parameter | Default | Range | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enabled | Yes | — | On by default. Disable if you need every message individually. |
| Debounce window | 30s | 10–90s | How long to wait for additional messages before flushing the batch. |
| Separator | \n\n | 3 options | How messages are joined: double newline, \n---\n, or [NEXT_MESSAGE]\n. |
When the unifier fires, the envelope's messages object carries the batch: its quantity, a batch_id, and the individual items[].
Available on the Builder plan and above.
